1. SarkariBus is not a government website

SarkariBus (sarkaribus.com) and the SarkariBus mobile apps are run independently by 1onTen Technologies. We are not owned, run, funded, authorised or endorsed by the Government of India, any State Government, any ministry or department, or any State Road Transport Corporation or undertaking, including MSRTC, KSRTC, UPSRTC, GSRTC, TSRTC, APSRTC, RSRTC or any other corporation listed on this site.

The word “Sarkari” in our name describes the government-run buses we list. It does not mean that we are a government body or that we speak for one. Nothing on this site is a notice, order or statement issued by any government or transport corporation.

2. Where our information comes from

The timetables, routes, stops, fares and contact numbers on SarkariBus are compiled from schedules published by the transport corporations, other public sources, and corrections sent in by passengers. We check and update this information regularly, but we cannot check every timing against every depot every day.

Some information may therefore be incomplete, out of date or wrong. Timings in particular can change at short notice because of festivals, holidays, road works, weather, strikes, breakdowns, changes in demand or decisions made by a depot or corporation.

3. No guarantee

All information on SarkariBus is provided “as is” and “as available”, for general guidance only. We make no promise or warranty, express or implied, that it is accurate, complete, current or suitable for any particular purpose, or that a bus listed on the site will run, leave on time, stop at every listed stop or charge the listed fare.

The site and apps may sometimes be unavailable, slow or contain errors, and we do not guarantee that they will always work.

4. Always confirm before you travel

Before you rely on any timing, please confirm it with the bus stand, the depot or the transport corporation, especially:

• early-morning, late-night and last buses of the day;
• long-distance, overnight and interstate journeys;
• travel on festivals, public holidays, election days or during bad weather;
• any journey where missing the bus would cause you serious difficulty or cost.

Each bus stand page shows the enquiry number we have for that stand, and each corporation page shows its helpline.

5. Fares and concessions

Fares shown on SarkariBus are indicative. The fare you actually pay is the one charged at the counter or by the conductor, and it can differ by bus type, route, date and any revision announced by the corporation.

Where we show a concession fare, it is only a guide. Who qualifies for a concession, and how much it is, is decided by each corporation under its own rules. Please check your eligibility with the corporation.

6. Phone numbers and helplines

Bus stand enquiry numbers and corporation helplines are listed as published or as reported to us. Numbers can change or stop working, and calls may not always be answered. We do not run these phone lines and we are not responsible for the answers, service or charges of anyone you call.

7. Emergencies

SarkariBus is not an emergency service and cannot send help. In an emergency, call 112, India's national emergency number, or the relevant local emergency service.

8. We do not sell tickets

SarkariBus does not sell tickets, reserve seats, take payments or issue refunds, and we are not an agent of any transport corporation. Tickets can only be bought from the corporation, its counters, conductors or its own authorised booking channels.

If anyone claims to sell bus tickets, passes or refunds on behalf of SarkariBus, they are not connected with us. Please do not share payment details with them, and tell us at heymadhuranjan@gmail.com.

9. Names, logos and trademarks

The names, logos and other marks of the transport corporations shown on SarkariBus belong to their respective owners. We use them only to identify which corporation a timetable relates to. Their use does not mean that any corporation sponsors, approves of or is connected with SarkariBus.

If you own a mark or other content shown on the site and want it changed or removed, write to us at heymadhuranjan@gmail.com with the page address and the details of your request, and we will act on it promptly.

10. Links to other websites and apps

SarkariBus may link to websites, apps and app stores that we do not control, such as a corporation's own booking site or Google Play. We are not responsible for their content, accuracy, availability, privacy practices or services. Using them is at your own risk and subject to their terms.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, 1onTen Technologies and the people who run SarkariBus will not be liable for any loss, damage, cost or inconvenience arising from your use of, or reliance on, the site, the apps or any information on them. This includes, for example, a missed or cancelled bus, a delay, a changed fare, the cost of other transport or accommodation, or any lost time, income or opportunity.

Nothing in this disclaimer limits any liability that cannot be limited under the law of India. Our Terms of Service explain this in more detail.

12. Advertising

Our mobile apps show advertisements served by Google AdMob, and the website may show advertisements in future. Ads are chosen and served by the ad provider. An advertisement does not mean that we endorse the advertiser or its products, and we are not responsible for what advertisers offer.

13. Found a mistake?

If you spot a wrong timing, a missing bus, a wrong fare or an old phone number, please tell us through the Report a Correction page. We review every report and correct the timetable when a change is confirmed.

14. Changes to this disclaimer

We may update this disclaimer from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it last changed. By continuing to use SarkariBus after a change, you accept the updated disclaimer.
