About SarkariBus
SarkariBus is an independent guide to India's state government buses. We put bus timetables, routes, fares and bus stand contact numbers in one easy place, so getting where you need to go is a little less of a guess.
Why we built SarkariBus
Millions of people travel on state government buses every day. But the timetables are spread across depot notice boards, corporation websites, PDFs and word of mouth, and finding out when the next bus leaves often means a phone call that nobody answers.
SarkariBus brings that information together in one place, so you can check a bus timing, see where a bus stops and find the right number to call, quickly and on any phone.
What you'll find here
SarkariBus covers 24 State Road Transport Corporations, with 51,500 routes across 4,111 bus stands listed today. For each bus stand you can see:
- departure timings for every listed bus, and the buses arriving there;
- where each bus goes and the stops on the way;
- bus types and fares, where they are published;
- the bus stand's enquiry number and the corporation's helpline.
Start from the home page, pick your state's corporation, or search for your bus stand.
Where our information comes from
Our timetables are compiled from schedules published by the transport corporations and other public sources. We check and update them regularly, and passengers help by telling us when something changes.
Bus services can change at short notice, so we always recommend confirming a timing with the bus stand before you travel. Our Disclaimer explains this in more detail.
Independent, and free to use
SarkariBus is run independently by 1onTen Technologies. We are not a government website, and we are not part of, or endorsed by, any transport corporation. “Sarkari” describes the government-run buses we list, not who we are.
The service is free. We do not sell tickets or take payments of any kind. To buy a ticket, use the bus stand counter, the conductor or the corporation's own booking channels.
Our apps
We also make free mobile apps, starting with ST Bus Timing for MSRTC buses in Maharashtra, so you can check timings on the go. Look for the “Get the App” button on the corporation's pages.
Help us keep it accurate
If you notice a wrong timing, a bus that no longer runs, a new bus that isn't listed or an old phone number, please tell us through Report a Correction. Every report is read, and each fix helps the next passenger.
